Michael Kaleel : Board of Directors
A successful business owner in the financial industry in Boston for over 45 years, Michael Kaleel also has a longstanding interest in owning, driving, and celebrating Jaguar cars. Michael has been a member of the Jaguar Association of New England (JANE) for 16 years including serving terms on the Board, as President, and as the Concour Chair. Michael also founded and organized “Drag race night” which included actual drag racing at a real 1/4 mile drag strip. During his time as Concour Chair at JANE he expanded the role of various positions, recruited more members, started large sponsorships, and used funds to expand benefits for members. As President, Michael created greater structure, formalized offsite board meetings; created formal positions then recruited and selected people for each job including Membership Chair; Events Chair, etc. The result was higher membership, more money to spend for member events, higher quality food, and even gifts at each event. Michael’s leadership became a blue print to follow for future boards. Michael owns and races vintage cars that include a 1954 Jag XK120, 1962 Lotus Super 7, and 1964 Lotus 23. He has raced at many tracks including Limerock, Watkins Glen and Monterey. He has also participated in a variety of events including The California Mille, the Colorado Grand and in 2016 the Mille Miglia in Italy in a 1952 SIATA Diana. When he is not racing, Michael is the Founder and President of The Kaleel Company Inc., and Managing Partner of Kaleel Investment Advisors, LLC. He and his firm have been providing wealth management since 1971. Michael works with business owners and professionals to develop plans that will help them build and sustain wealth through investment programs, efficient insurance design, and tax-efficient planning. Also a founding member of the Angel Investor Group, Sidecar Angels, Michael has helped to fund many local Boston startup businesses. Michael is a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.
